The West Highland Way - Independent Walking

Scotland is a country steeped in history and tradition.

The West Highland Way is 95 miles (152 km) long and was opened in 1980. It became the first officially designated long distance route in Scotland, linking Milngavie to Fort William - from the outskirts of Scotland's largest city to the foot of its highest mountain.

It is a magnificent walk through some of Scotland's most inspirational scenery, passing along the shores of Loch Lomond and over the wild Rannoch Moor and into the heart of the Highlands. It is the most popular and best known footpath in Scotland. This walk takes in some of the best walking in Scotland. If the weather behaves, you will have your best holiday ever!
