A Walk in Alsace - Independent Walking

This walk can be also called “the Balcony of the medieval Alsace”, a balcony on which we are the spectators of the landscapes and its beautiful views. There is plenty of time to taste some world famous Riesling in between visiting 12th century buildings.

From the medieval village Turckheim to the attractive area of Obernai, you are going to visit the villages of Niedermorschwhir, Ammerschwir, Kaysersberg, Thannenkirch, Riquewhir, Ribeauvillé, Andlau and Ottrot. You’ll discover the castles of Hagueneck, Hohlandsburg, Haut Koenigsbourg, Haut Ribeaupierre, Ramstein and Ortembourg. And what better way to enjoy this area than on foot.
