Everest Panorama - Escorted Walking

Experience Nepal's different attractions - Trekking, Rafting, Jungle Safari and time in a Mountain Resort. After exploring Kathmandu, we take a scenic mountain flight to Lukla, trek through the Dudh Kosi (River of Milk) Valley and memorable villages like the Sherpa 'capital' , Namche Bazaar. While acclimatising, visit the Park Museum and Sherpa homes. At Thyangboche, gaze on the peaks of AmaDablam, Everest, and other Khumbu giants. Return to Lukla via the interesting village of Khumjung, and another spectacular mountain flight to Kathmandu and more city adventures.

Following our trek, we swap boots for paddles and a fun-filled whitewater rafting experience on the Trisuli River. Then into the Chitwan National park. Atop an elephant in the jungle, we go in search of the elusive Royal Bengal tiger and the one-horned rhinoceros. Before returning to Kathmandu, we overnight at the Everest Panorama Resort at Daman where a 400km panorama of the Himalayan Range, encompassing 8 of the world's 10 highest mountains - including Everest - is to be had on clear days. Return to Kathmandu, for bargain shopping or just relaxing.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu, transfer to your 4* hotel in Kathmandu Day 2: Morning guided sightseeing in Kathmandu, afternoon free for individual exploration.
Day 3: Fly to Lukla, an extraordinary mountain flight and trek to Phakdingma. Day 4:Trek to Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital.  Day 5: Acclimatisation day at Namche Bazaar. Plenty of time to tour the markets and souvenir hunt.
Day 6:Trek to Thyangboche, a major monastic complex with great views to Amadablam, and to the peaks around Everest. Day 6: Trek to Monzo.  
 Day 8: Trek ends in Lukla Day 9: Fly to Kathmandu Day 10/11: Early morning drive to raft put-in point on the Trisuli River. Day 12/13: Chitwan National Park, look out for rhinos and tigers! Day 14: Transfer to Everest Panorama Resort Day 15: Transfer to Kathmandu. Last minute shopping in Thamel, perhaps. Day 16: Trip concludes in Kathmandu
