Salzburg to Vienna - Independent Cycling
Nature and Culture – Austria at its best! You will start your bike tour in the home-town of Mozart, Salzburg and cycle through the famous Salzkammergut with its blue lakes and untouched nature. This is the land of the ‘Sound of Music’. Continuing on, you will reach the Danube Valley with its romantic castles, cosy villages, perfect vineyards and a well prepared bike path along the majestic Danube river. You will also cycle through The Wachau area which is one of the most beautiful in Austria. It is a very popular and rewarding trip which takes you through quiet and peaceful rural countryside as well as through urban environments. It is all well signposted and it’s easy to find your way to each night stop. There is no rush and it is relatively flat so just relax and enjoy the scenery and the people.
